Recently I attended an event, NorthEast Calling festival at India Gate, New Delhi. In the event, Indian rapper who is also known as BK from Tripura performed one of his original composition #hashtag I want to be famous… The lyrics of the song played in my mind for a week, It made me contemplate about success and failure even more as I was writing the video description for a Youtube Channel. Failure is one of those ugly realities of life which is a common experience to all of us to some degree.
My definition of failure might be a little different from the rest. For me, failure is missing out the fun in life or failing to enjoy the present moment. Failure is when I fail to recognize the cause of it. When I was in my younger days, failing in exams especially Math was the sole definition of failure. As I grow older, the definition of failure has become more complex and wide.
No one wants to fail, but we all do! And if you have never failed, perhaps you have never gone out of that comfort zone. Mistakes could be many, but some failures are because we are ignorant and some are beyond our control. We fail because we are in learning process !! Almost everything in life requires to learn or try something that you have never done before. That’s why we fail.
I have faced uncountable failures, encountered disappointments and lost many battles. Through failure, I have learned to accept life’s outcome the way they are and to focus on the goals and purpose of life. When something hard in life strikes me, most of the time, I fail to enjoy the moment. Looking back, there has been a lot of time when I don’t appreciate the time but mourn or regret failing. Had I been more acceptable and flexible what came my way, I would have been a happier person. Failure reminded me to stand up when I fall. Be it a major or minor failure, it is a reminder for me that I am a step closer to my success.
Failure is just the other side of success. Come what may, I feel that success is what you leave behind when you go. Collecting and thinking of all the failures or broken dreams, I realized that failures pruned and shaped my life. Many great people experienced some sort of failure. Go ahead and never give up.
It is ok to fail, it is ok to be in bad position but don’t forget to get up.
#concentrate on (@God works in unusual ways sometimes @God keeps His promises.
@He restored Israel to a country thousands of years after it was completely destroyed.)
⭐Ezekiel 36-37 is one of my favorite story in the Bible. Many strange weird things happened during this time. (The theme of Ezekiel 36 is restoration )Those days Israel was in exile in the land of Babylon. They had been there for many years disobeying God,a rebellious nation. Then God appeared and spoke to the prophet Ezekiel.
⭐WHO WAS EZEKIEL (God makes strong, hardens) AND WHEN DID HE WRITE?(571BC)
Ezekiel lived and wrote at the same time as Jeremiah and Daniel, and a couple other minor prophets. So, he’s writing during the fall of Jerusalem.
⭐Ezekiel was one of the most unique prophets. He even had to shave his hair and divide it into thirds to illustrate how Jerusalem would be defeated. He was to lie bound for a year to illustrate Jerusalem at the siege. And the illustrations go on and on.
⭐In Ezekiel 36:26, God promises the prophet that He will give his people a “new Spirit.” ❤He informs the prophet that this Spirit will be “within them.” God goes on to tell the prophet that their “stony hearts” /hard hearts will be taken from them and they will be given “a heart of flesh,” or tender hearts. When this “heart of flesh” is within them He will then “cause them” to walk in his statutes. What are some the examples of hard objects? Coconut. At times you made a mistake and you say sorry to your friend but she/he won’t talk to you or agree with you. What do you do in such situations? (take responses)
⭐In Ezekiel 36:27, God then tells the prophet that when that time comes, Israel will be “his people” once again and He will be “their God.” But here is the catch! God said to Ezekiel:
“Thus says the Lord God, I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them” (Ezekiel 36: 37).
In other words, Israel would have to ask God before God would do any of these things in their behalves.
In Ezekiel 37, God showed him a vision. “the Vision of the Valley of the Dry Bones.” In this vision, the spirit of the Lord carries the prophet to a valley that was full of bones, and these bones were very dry (in other words, they had been there for a very long time).
Once there, God asked the prophet in Ezekiel 37:3, “Son of Man, can these bones live?” 💀💀💀And the prophet answered by saying to God, “You alone know.” So, in the next verse, God said this to Ezekiel: “Prophesy upon these bones: and say unto them, ‘O you dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.’” That sounds a bit scary, isn’t it?
The prophet did as he had been told, and there was a noise and the bones began to come together, and as the prophet continued to watch, sinews and flesh came upon the bones and skin covered them. Suddenly, the prophet could see millions of people.
But the problem was this: this army of people had no breath within them. In other words, they were dead.
However, in Ezekiel 36:9, God spoke to the prophet and said this to him: “Prophesy unto the wind, prophesied, Son of Man, and say to the wind, ‘thus saith the Lord God: come from the four winds, old breath, and breathe upon the slain that they may live.’”
Ezekiel did as he was told once again, and he prophesied to this army of dead soldiers, and when he did the breath came into them and they stood upon their feet, and they did, indeed, prove to be a huge army.
Then God explained to Ezekiel the meaning of this vision. According to Ezekiel 37:11, the bones represent the entire house of Israel that will be living at the time of the restoration of Israel to the land. The unique thing about this verse is that God said to the prophet, “Son of Man these bones are the whole house of Israel.”
God offers an amazing revelation that He will make “a covenant of peace” with the people of Israel. Of course, this “covenant of peace,” of which God speaks was about the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Here God is describing for us the millennial/ reign of Christ in advance.
Christ will return and establish his kingdom of peace forever and ever. God is the only one who can bring peace of mind into our hearts.
⭐short clip about stony heart and how God mends the broken heart.
She replied with ease “If you truly enjoy the beauty of nature, you won’t spend so much time in getting pictures, but rather enjoy the scenic beauty” What? Well, we need to post it on Facebook …
It struck me why on earth we are so obsessed with capturing the moments that are worth living instead of actually living them! This picture mania is not new, but this is actually true. We know it very well.
Many of us have experienced what it’s like when your favorite band comes to town. You would probably get stuck somewhere in a crowd of thousands. Long lines seem a short line when it’s your favorite band rocking the concert. That excitement! People are walking over your feet and sweaty bodies are rubbing against yours and no, not in the way you’d want them to. But never mind, it’s your favorite band. And finally, the show begins.
You cheer loud with all your strength and along with the band’s grand entry, your unlocking phone process begins. Then, when they start singing, you stand there with your arms stretched out and a phone in your hands, not only blocking the view of whoever is watching and standing behind you but also recording a shaky video with blaring noise, which will sit in some forgotten corner of your life.
Are you a foodie? So, what about the random food pictures from every Saturday dinner and Sunday brunches you post on Instagram or Facebook?
Whatever we eat, it has become a trend to click and post it. I remember my mom telling me, back when I was a kid, to eat my food as soon as it is served on the table, otherwise, she would serve it to the dogs around. You know very well the pangs of hunger when you skipped your meal.
Are you supposed to post anything happening in your life? What you doing, sleeping, scared, broken, whatever feelings you feel … Social media no doubt has become our punch pillow like social media is another all ears and all eyes person. Do we really need to digitalize every moment? Is every moment worth capturing?
Today, we might be clicking on 100 pictures per minute and yet, we aren’t satisfied. Funny but true. We want the person who clicked the picture to send ASAP as if it is the most important thing ever in life. And most of those send pictures lies unused in our phones and probably we at times end up deleting the pictures.
We just can’t get over looking into our phones. Using your cell phone during a family dinner is frowned upon by pretty much everybody. It’s official. Why put a screen between you and every part of your life activities? You only wish that picture on the screen come alive.
So the next time you really want to prove the existence of a ‘life’ in your life, make sure you live it first and then probably click the picture. Be present. Live in it. Any picture on your mind? Not again…
Stop Capturing Every Moment, Just Enjoy It, live life
How do they adjust their life sleeping in such a scorching heat? Maybe they want to work like many of us, but many beggars end up sleeping on the roadside. Makes me think so hard about their lifestyle.
All around me, I find people searching for truth, fame, success, wealth, love, happiness etc. During this quest, we might get lost in the process. We may be more fortunate than them but I also realize that we all have our own pardon. Then I remember the cross I know. The cross I know is the only hope that gives me a ray of hope.
In New Delhi, 100,000 children are homeless according to UNICEF. Estimated 60,000 beggars are under 18 years as conducted by the Delhi Commission for a protection of child rights. Poverty, hunger, stagnant, immobile, broken hearts are all around. We have heard and read of many rich beggars. Some beggars are richer than us as it has become a profession for many beggars.
I complained of a better home to live in, a better job, better relationship, better friends, better clothes and so on. My life is also like this hopeless beggar when I think of my own struggle at some point. But despite all these sufferings, I smile each time I think of the cross. I see the power of the cross. As a believer, it challenges me every day to carry my burden and to just follow Him.
I need to be reminded every single day God is just a call away. A prayer away! How could I ignore that everlasting joy of knowing Him as my personal savior? God is there for you.
This video really touched my heart. (Watch this as you read on :)). I don’t know how long I will guard the cross. Till he returns, I must guard it well with all my heart and soul.
When Jesus was crucified along with two other criminals on the hill of calvary., One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!” But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom”.
It amazes me what made the other criminal on the right side asked Jesus to remember him on paradise.
In the end what really matters is the cross you and I carry. Regardless of our life status, what I know is that we are all lost without the cross. Just like these beggars sleeping on a hot day, we are also trying and struggling every day so hard for a better life. Jesus simply told us to take the pain and the mess of our lives and place them before God.

Be crazy and do what you like was her style! I have always wanted to be the crazy one and probably I have been one. I am still the craziest one in the family anyways.
It has always made me be with that best cool gang team, trying so hard myself to fit in like I was the most wanted.
There’s always been a breach between ‘what I want to be’ and ‘what I think the world thinks I should be’. I got lost in between these two thoughts trying to fit in both.
Growing up, I was definitely what you would call a “tomboy.” When I had a first mushroom cut during Christmas, my family was at my Village, Shangshak, for Christmas holidays. I remember one uncle curiously asked my mother if I had the hair cut to get rid of lice on my hair. That’s a weird question though. That’s something I never forgot until today. When other girls wore girlie dresses, I was always with shabby shorts and Ts, hanging around aimlessly like an abandoned cow, stole neighbors fruits and vegetables from the garden, pooed in my best friend’s garden, me and my second sister Shim hung dead dog’s head in my brother’s room early morning at Imphal…some of my crazy childhood incidents I remember.
The burden to fit in troubled me and it turned me into a social chameleon. I tried to be the person I felt I should be so I’d mingle in with those around me, whether that meant spending a concert night at town halls or attending a friend’s birthday party.
No doubt, we all have that person who we love and care so much or distinct groups of persons we care. So, it’s quite normal to show favoritism to a certain group time.
Looking back, I’ve spent half of my life trying to fit in which I was not meant for. I’ve always wanted and tried to make people happy, to make my parents proud, to be a good child and to receive permission from anyone and everyone be it my family, friends, bosses, or teachers etc.
If you have been trying so hard to fit in like me or you still are, then it’s probably just the right time for you for “Attitude check “. Trying hard to prove your worth to people might work for some time, but it could be a sign that you’ve already forgotten your value.
We live in a world where we are surrounded by expectations and perfectionism. The media highlights better versions of just about everything, creating a mindset that we should be striving for more. There’s no wonder so many of us feel like we’re not content and enough. The crave for betterment goes on and on.
Tags like prettier, healthier, smarter, richer, slimmer, fitter, happier, nicer.. goes on. And what not? The point is, we are all unique and there is no right or wrong. We all have that ‘ME CRAZINESS’ inside us. But do not forget to know the real you and that is the only key to happiness.
To find that true happiness we must be true to ourselves, live our own dreams, and be proud of what makes us unique instead of feeling the pressure to follow the crowd.
Once you gain that attitude of accepting what you are, that’s when you know your true self. As I write this, I am listening to this song by Adam Levine.
If I got locked away
And we lost it all today
Tell me honestly, would you still love me the same?
If I showed you my flaws
If I couldn’t be strong
Tell me honestly, would you still love me the same…?
The desire to be accepted by others will always be there. But what is life, if full of parameters?
Sadly, there will always be someone prettier, clever, talented, or stronger than you, but the reverse is also true.
There will always be people less than you in all of these areas.
So instead of comparing yourself to others, look to see if you’re fulfilling your own potential to the best of your ability.
The grass will always be greener on the other side if you keep comparing. In nature, everything is needed and it all has its place.
Let go of who you think you should be and be who you are. Life may be crazy but It is all about being true to yourself.
Be yourself, Trying to fit in, Life, Happiness
Manipur’s 9 districts were divided into 4 valley districts and 5 hill districts. The total number of districts in the state has now gone up to 16 after dividing the 9 existing ones.
Alleging that the new districts would encroach the ancestral land of the Nagas, the UNC(united Naga Council) strongly opposed the creation of Sadar Hills and Chiribam districts. However, the government denied the charge. The UNC on November 1, imposed an economic blockade on two national Highways, -NH-2(Imphal-Dimapur) and an NH 37 (Imphal to Jiribam). According to the UNC, Naga villages have been “appropriated” and merged with non-Naga areas to divide the Naga people.
Chief Minister Okram Ibobi said that the formation of new districts was a response to longstanding demands of local people, and to run the administration better. However, the division of districts byIbobi has created a turmoil in the hearts of the people of Nagas in Manipur as the Tribal Hill Area Committees were not consulted before the government took the decision. Considering the parliamentary law, unless the hill people are informed, the government cannot come to a conclusion concerning the tribal. Under the Article 371(C) of the Indian constitution, the Hill Area committees are formed to protect the rights of hill people.
More than 40 vehicles were torched, luggage of 300+ passengers were looted and burned by the angry Meitei mobs. The protestors also snatched luggage, phones, money, burned their belongings and assaulted the passengers on December 18.The protesters were pouring out their anger to innocent passengers with the ongoing economic blockade imposed by UNC and several Naga tribes in the state.
The Manipur Baptist church which is situated in the heart of Imphal was vandalized by the angry mobs. Outside the church gate, it was written: “CHINGMEIRONG MAYAMGI AYABA YAODANA CHURCH KABA YAROI” (No one should attend the church service without permission). Mobile internet services have been suspended to prevent rumor, buses were burned and overturned.
List of newly created Districts in Manipur: Tengnoupal, Kamjong, Pherzawl,Kangpokpi, kakching,N oney and Jiribam.
Over the past few days, government officials have been in talks with tribal groups. Both Meiteis and tribals have reached out to each other but the situation is likely to ease.As the Manipur election is around the corner, the government of Manipur to retain power, must take broad responsibility to solve the crisis before the situation deteriorates further.
The Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh Slammed CM Ibobi for failing to discharge its ‘constitutional’ duties. He further questioned the CM why he did not take Naga groups into confidence while forming new districts and assured him of all possible support from the center. Rajnath Singh in his letter to CM Ibobi mentioned that there had been extremely and the distressing situation caused by the continuous blockade of National Highway-2.
A mass protest organized by NSUD (Naga Student Union Delhi) and all the Naga civil Societies will be held at Delhi on Jantar Mantar on 29th, December. The Naga Student Union has requested all the Nagas in Delhi to join the protest.
